Hi Tanya -
Nice to see you here! Please let me know more about your interest in myth!
Peace.
Willi
Welcome to the Depth Psychology Alliance, Tanya. Sorry it's taken me so long to check in with you! The Alliance is a perfect place to explore Jung's work around the collective. In fact, our core vision is to get Jung's approach to owning one's shadow as a way of affecting the collective and its penchant for going to war. Have you read the story of Richard Wilhelm and the Rainmaker (from about 1919)? It is a true story of Wilhelm's experience, and it informed most Jung's work around individual dynamics within the collective.
The Alliance is an all-volunteer community, and as a member of our community, you will indeed meet like-minded individuals from every part of the globe--different cultures and all devoted to deep psyche and the individuation journey.
I hope that you will check out online events that are coming up, including our free monthly Deep Meet & Greets that bring people together and Community Conversations that explore hot topics in the collective from the depth perspective.
Please enjoy noodling around in the site--there are countless recorded interviews, blog posts, topical online groups, posted articles, and educational opportunities.
Best regards, Dorene Mahoney, Alliance Administrative Board Member
