The paint does float in space, since we have learned to look through glass, not see it as solid. I have had, for the past few years, a yearning to do sculpture, though, to bring the work out into 3D space - that is one of my next places to go.
Ouch! The death of an artwork is almost like the death of a child. What a great medium! Wish I could hold it...
