"It seems to me,thinking about Franz Kafka, and some other great artist, that although they died fairly young, their lives were not cut short. They had lived with such an intensity and fire, that their lives were full, though short.
Other people can…"

"Dear Erel,
While reading about The Adult and The Senex  I looked up a poem by A. Marvell :
But at my back I always hear
Time's winged chariot hurrying near.
And yonder all before us lie
Deserts of vast eternity
I think this describes the frightening…"

  • Hi Carita. A warm welcome to the Alliance. I'm so glad you found your way here through Erel Shalit--a wonderful person! Once you have a chance to explore the online community a bit, I think you'll find a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all highly intrigued by the field of depth psychology. And, while there are many Jungian analysts, clinicians, and psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, I hope you're finding opportunities to engage as you browse the vast content and interact with others. You may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven’t already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. February brings a wonderful new book from Dr. Erel Shalit as I'm sure you know--as well as a special online study group on Astrology with long-time astrologer Kathleen Burt.
