Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Narrative psychology combined with social systems on the "outside" and Jungian understanding of the interior "systems" make a nice pairing. Currently working on soul-related theoretical research establishing that soul is a misnomer. A proper understanding begins with seeing that souling as process is a better beginning to understanding the workings within the Psyche.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Many, but most are Jungian based.

From Diane Rickards:
Hello Ed, Thank you for the welcome! I checked out your blog and look forward to reading more. Regarding the disconnect between our interiority, western culture and my clients ~ clients often arrive in dismay as to why in midlife (usually) they are experiencing difficulties with for example, nightmares, migraines, panic attacks or other. These symptoms arise unexpectedly or seemingly related to an event which would normally not cause alarm for them. Therapy usually reveals a disconnection between who they are and who they thought they were; a faulty framework founded in familial, cultural and external collective ideals and practices that no longer can sustain them through the second half of life. In addition, through my own practice of dream journal work for over 25 years I have discovered a deep sense of life, nature, and alchemical under*standing that would have perhaps been without expression. Life is so interesting. What about you? Diane
Thanks, Ed for the welcome. I will start exploring...
