Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Narrative psychology combined with social systems on the "outside" and Jungian understanding of the interior "systems" make a nice pairing. Currently working on soul-related theoretical research establishing that soul is a misnomer. A proper understanding begins with seeing that souling as process is a better beginning to understanding the workings within the Psyche.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Many, but most are Jungian based.

Hi Ed,
Thank you for your message and welcome, I joined your group and am interested in finding out more about a Jung in the South Conference. Hillary
Ed,
Thank you for the welcome, and for visiting my site. I also find Hildegard fascinating. In the "Old World" most women who were considered healers, were also alchemists. This is where the recipes for the healing tinctures, powders etc. came from. It's so sad that they were executed by the church and we don't have any task following their trail.
Hello Ed, The website that has the Sioux story, actually belongs to a colleague of mine. And I agree, it is a great story.
In the MFT training phase, I really have not had much direct guidance for use of depth psychology from the agencies I've worked for. I journal regularly, see my own analyst, and have discuss depth psychological topics with peer consultation.
I have used art, active imagination and some but not much dream-work, to support connection and expression of symbolic language.
This is a good question, Ed.
Thank you for the introduction and I am pleased to be a part of the Alliance.
Thank you very much Ed!
Diana
