Interesting scheme although I am not sure I understand it completely. I would like to ask the following:

Let us see if this is also the case when we encounter definitions that are not exactly Jungs´ but that reflect common understanding of the word synchronicity.

For example this is what we find in Wikipedia:…"

James R. Newell replied to Gustavo Parra's discussion Ensoulment and Synchronicity: Concepts from Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas

  • Gustavo, I apologize I didn't see your friend request before today. I just accepted and would enjoy talking more about emergence and synchronicity. I will be traveling the next two weeks but I'll check back in with you when I return ok?

  • Greetings Gustavo and welcome to the online depth psychology community. I'm so glad you've joined us! I share your interest in synchronicity and find our efforts to better understand these meaningful connections essential to my personal development and perhaps a pathway to much untapped consciousness in our collective lives.

As you may know, we currently have nearly 2000 members from all over the world and we're growing. I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from various walks of life including artists, writers, doctors, scientists, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

Also, as you may be aware of the January online book club featuring  "The War of the Gods in Addiction" with David E. Schoen who is, of course, also offering a free 4-week teleseminar which started January 9--though you can listen to the archived version and join any future week. Since the online part of the Book Club is done via writing in an open forum, you can participate at your own level and schedule--and you can join the discussion anytime, even if you don't have the book. Also upcoming in January is a special study group on the Red Book with Robert Bosnak starting January 19.

In case you need detailed help getting started and navigating the site, you can use the following link----http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site----and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all!

I look forward to seeing you around the community.
