Hello Carla!

I am delighted that you contacted me! Unfortunately, I don't think I can swing this year's International Association for the Study of Dreams, although I would love to be back in the Netherlands! I presented at that conference last June in Ashville, NC. I would actually love to make connections in Europe to present workshops and retreats. So, I welcome communication with you and your dance therapist friend.

I was scanning through the groups to see what actually is going on there. In the group "Jung in the South" I just happened to see that Jeanne M. Schul wrote she was going to the Netherlands to give a presentation or workshop. Unfortunately I don't remember the page number. May be a great opportunity to make a very important contact. Hi Carla, indeed I do know the word "leuk" There just isn't an english equivalent don't you think? I emigrated in 1956 with my family but i'm still totally bilingual.

Sorry, only now I see you live in Amstelveen. May be you are dutch anyway and know far more than just 'gezellig' I am new too and I wonder now if there exists such a thing as a "gezellige gestalt" Don't answer. I assume joking is not good behaviour here!

Shadow attracts us to a job and an organisation

Shadow makes us attracted to a certain job and organisation. We utilise our talents in a job and also a piece of our shadow.

Shadow is what you don't want to be or what you admire. Unconsciously we are attracted to a job and organisation because of our shadow. Something inside us, attracts us to exactly the place where we can grow. We prefer to show a mask to hide our shadow. In Jungian terms this is our persona.
