Hi Chris. I would also like to add my somewhat belated welcome to the others'. I'm glad you've found us. I think you'll find many like-minded individuals in the community who also want to stay connected with other like-minded individuals, seek intellectual stimulation, and to work on better understanding themselves. Regarding Sonoma State's depth program, I am also a graduate and can't say enough good things about it. It opened up a whole new world for me and ultimately led to the establishment of THIS community. I talked to the chair last week and they have 12 new people in the program this year. My cohort was 11. It's a great number where you can become very close and confortable as a container for sometimes challenging topics.

Hi Chris,
It's a FASCINATING field! I LOVE it! An entire world of magic and awe unfolded right in front of me when I started practicing. I received my Certified, Clinical status through HCH Institute in Lafayette, CA. It's a state accredited post secondary vocational school with multiple certificate programs with a transpersonal emphasis. It took 4 months for the certification and 6 months for the clinical status. There are other schools in the bay area, too, but I'm not aware of what they offer or how...

Welcome Christopher,
Glad you found and decided to join the Alliance. Your interest in applying your degree is an interesting quest in that one of our earliest discussions within the Alliance was how people were exercising their degrees in depth psychology. As might be understandable, the applications were as wide as the personalities of the Alliance members. There is a strong desire within the Alliance to take Jungian thought and perceptions past the walls of the analyst's office and into the world. Enjoy the many blogs, forums, and groups. I look forward to your posts.
