Ed Koffenberger left a comment on Jung in the South
"So...after a LONG time away, I resurface and wonder who is still out there, esp. in the Carolinas and Virginia? Frankly, I took too great a chunk of real estate in my exuberance with the beginning of the DPA. Now hoping there are some still…"

Ed Koffenberger replied to Bonnie Bright's discussion How pervasive or recognizable is Depth Psychology?-- How (and how often) do you share?
"The actual phrase "depth psychology" about three times. The concepts and perceptions related to and introduced by depth psychology, most likely, 10+ times a week. Normally with people interested in dreams, synchronicity, religion, and philosophy.…"

Ed Koffenberger replied to Gerard Scott's discussion The collective unconscious
"Fun. As I understand it, the collect unconscious of humanity is drawn from the combined unconscious dynamics of humanity passed down from the earliest times. If experience is the key, then the alien experience would be alien (couldn't resist) to our…"

Ed Koffenberger replied to Gerard Scott's discussion The collective unconscious

    Dear Ed,
Thank you for the kind words- I hope you will be able to attend an Assisi event whether in person or online in the near future. In terms of visting Kentucky- Are you asking if I have any speaking engagements there?? or am I interested in doing so? So let me know-
Will be good to hear from you,
    Michael
  • In terms of art that I might study psychologically that would be literature. I have other stuff on my plate right now, but I'd love to go into depth with my own interpretation of Raskolnikov's dream horse. As for the the art that I make, I'm almost exclusively visual.
  • Hi Ed,

I'm not sure what you mean by my "chosen art expression."
  • Hello Ed - thanks for your welcome! I am travelling at present but look forward to being a more active member of the site later this year.
    Best wishes, Suzanne

  • Hi Ed,
I had to think hard for a moment re. my icon art as I often use a photo of my black cat looking at herself in one of my pique assiette mosaic mirrors. The butterfly feeding from the cosmos was a great opportunity for my little Canon up in Cashiers, NC, where I sell my mosaic art. I love color, as you'll see.

Here is a link to my new blog.

and here is a link to my quite stale web page that will link you to other venues of mine.

    Thanks for asking!

  • Hi Ed,
Well, I don't know that I have any "deep' thoughts about your vision right now but to support you in the unfolding and actualizing if that is your calling. I am immersed in my own journey right now in a few key and core areas of my inner/outer lives and am watching to see how my vision for the next phase of my life unfolds and evolves.

I am very inner directed right now with my energies focused on personal healing and deepening, performing my job and creating my art while the next Big Steps are revealed. Not sure that answers your question but after mulling it over for two days that's the best I can offer!

  • HI Ed,
Thanks for the note. Sure I'll join the South group, although I'm unclear what that involves specifically? I've read the threads on your conference idea and was going to suggest Haden but I see you are well aware of it.

I attended a weekend for women with a therapist who is oriented in Jung/Archetypes at www.sanctuaryinthepines.com in Flat Rock, NC. It was a very nice location in case you are not familiar with it. I'm in Brevard and still in the process of applying to Pacifica so not sure where my path is leading for sure at this moment. Not that any of us are, of course.

    Thanks for being in touch!
