Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
No. I am an experienced Dream Counselor. I have facilitated numerous "Dream Workshops". I am using the latest in dream interpretation called "Tarotpy", a technique copyrighted by Dr. Lauren Z. Schneider. Very effective to activate the creative imagination emerging from 3D imagery.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Attending Pacifica Graduate Institute opened a whole new world for me. I am very interested in Jung and Campbell. I don't have many people to discuss this philosophy and concepts. However, I have started a "Dream Group" with the eventual goal to present more workshops and even to write a book. Don't we all have to write a book? LOL
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Jung Platform website, Campbell website, both linked into my facebook. I do not get on the Internet all the time.

Hi Lucille,
I saw that you were having trouble finding a couple of things on the site. Click on "Groups" under the Explore tab, and do a search for "The Twilight Zone--Dreamwork." We haven't had a lot of activity, mainly because I have not been posting stuff (I'm the administrator). I'd love it if you would "stir things up" with some posts!
To apply to present a proposal, click on the "Home" tab and follow the link.
Thanks, and good luck!
Dorene
Dear Lucille, again my apologies for the techonological snafu. I spoke to the adminstrator who is just as flummoxed as me as to why no one was able to get on. the session was recorded and the last two sessions will be available. Again, my apologies and I am so glad that you enjoyed the sessions. Best regards, Silvia

ucille, forgive my ineptness at this computer....I think I called you Lilian...I'm quite confused when it comes to the circuitous paths and technological expertise I don't seem to acquire easily....So thanks for your comments on the Hillman dream. Where did I post it? After doing some work with M. Conforti on dreams I began to look at the dream in terms of orienting to its plausibility. Yes, the forest round my home could possibly catch fire. Or, worse given the world state of affairs , the world could perhaps come to an end sooner than later . Plausibility of Hillman coming to my rescue . Highly unlikely. Have I encountered him professionally and scholastically. Yes, many times. Socially, only once when he was my partner at a dinner party. Have I had dreams of late in which in the middle of varying type of mini-disasters helpful male figures continue to come to my aid? Yes. many. So there is a real element of environmental danger, though far, far off I hope and perhaps never in my/our world.Would Hillman be the woman my damsel in distress would most love to be rescued by at a time like that. Not first on my list. Is that possible or plausible in my current world. No. Should I perhaps find a way to expect and hope for a more realistic knight to enter my world and rescue my damsel in distress, should that need arise. Is that need here now, and have I been looking in the wrong stables for that knight? Yes. The dream suggests to me that under the worst type of disaster the most ideal figure, is not what is needed or possible. Can I assimilate and act upon that clarity? Time will tell. Lucille,..I ran with that didn't I. Thanks for your comments. They catalyzed something important. I see you live in Cambria...Luscious. J.
Hi Lucille,
The Archetypal Astrology group is up and open for comments! Please feel free to jump in and post anything you find may be of interest--Talk about why you got involved in the modality, share books or references you find of help, write a short description of some of the elements--whatever way you'd like to be involved.
Judie is working on figuring out how best to navigate and I know she will welcome company right away!
Hi Lucille: I'm working tomorrow with one of our members, Judith Harte, to get the Archetypal Astrology group set up. Like you, she's got a ton of experience in the field and has agreed to engage in the group to try and keep some conversation going.
Once we have the group set up (maybe this weekend?), you'll see it listed in the groups area and you will be able to simply click on it to become a member. Then you can post to the group. I would really like to see it get going--so if you're inclined to jump in and work with Judie, I would love it. There are many of us in the community, I'm sure, who can learn a lot from asking questions or following a discussion between people who are knowledgable in the field.
As for navigating the site, this page should give you some tips: http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site

Happy reading!!! :)
Hi Lucille. I'd like to add my welcome to Ed's. I'm sure you know you'll find many like-minded individuals in the community who want to stay connected to the field and to learn from a collective group of individuals who all have a common interest in sharing soul.
I hope you'll jump in and engage with your peers by posting a link or article that is meaningful to you in the Forum, commenting on others' posts, or asking a question. In fact, we're hoping to start up a group on Archetypal Astrology very shortly that may be of interest for you and a place where you can engage with others who have understanding or questions on the topic.
Meanwhile, I'll send you some tips on navigating the site in a separate email in case its of help. Enjoy the site! ~Bonnie Bright, Founder
I took an alchemy class at Pacifica Graduate Institute. If you would like the reading list, I'll be happy to send it on.

Welcome Lucille,
Yes, we all must write a book. :)
As to Astrology, I noticed that the Atlanta Jungian group is having a workshop in that area. http://www.jungatlanta.com/store/stelzner-registration.html
First Astrology then Alchemy. When do you think you will get to the B's? :)
Glad you have found the Alliance and I believe you will find many who share your interests in the many blogs, forums, and groups. Don't miss the Tweets!!
