I'm currently entering my second year as a graduate student in the MA in Depth Psychology program at Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA.
Are you a licensed or clinical therapist?
No, but many of my best friends are. I was the director of the Sonoma Institute in Bodega, CA, back in the day. The Institute was the first accredited graduate training program for clinical psychotherapists with a humanistic-transpersonal theoretical orientation. Way before Pacifica! Faculty included James Hillman, Robert Bly, Virginia Satir, Theodore Roszak, Joan Halifax, Arthur Deikman, Robert Hall, Frances Vaughan and many other major figures in the Human Potential/Depth Psychology field. I was also involved in the initial curriculum development for Saybrook University (formerly Humanistic Psychology Insitute), as a co-author with Stanley Krippner.
Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Depth Psychology is my primary field of interest as a scholar, teacher, and author. My niche is mythic structure in storytelling, and will completing my first college teaching internship in that area in Spring 2012. This seems like a perfect network for me to connect up with.

Yes, many. The Joseph Campbell Foundation stands out.

I'm intrigued by your interest in mythic storytelling. I have witnessed the astonishing power of ritual and intention in causing people and the world to move differently, and I think storytelling has the potential to "dip in the same pond." It was a chance happening upon a Michael Meade presentation that gave me that connection.
