Please share a little about yourself by way of introduction. What draws you to Depth Psychology and what are you looking for from this community?
Narrative psychology combined with social systems on the "outside" and Jungian understanding of the interior "systems" make a nice pairing. Currently working on soul-related theoretical research establishing that soul is a misnomer. A proper understanding begins with seeing that souling as process is a better beginning to understanding the workings within the Psyche.
Do you belong to any other online Psychology-related communities or orgs? If so, which?
Many, but most are Jungian based.

Ed, the MTW conference was a wonderfully connecting and expanding experience for me. While I am a new student of Jung, I feel in many ways very familiar with his described path of individuation. Thank you for the warm welcome to this alliance. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Hi Ed
I must confes that Jung doesn't enter my clinical world much. The reasons are complex, but this is mostly because I find other ways of thinking more useful. I have be interested in Jung for 20 years and had a mighty James Hillman phase in the mid-90's. Since then had a Winnicott/Klein phase, followed by a Lacan phase and (hold your breath) a mindfulness-behavioural phase. But the approach which is always there in the background and grounds all this other work is existential-phenomenology. So I connect to depth psychology through Romanyshyn and Roger Brooke mostly. So I tend to nourish myself through depth theory, but I can never take it too literally. It "waters" my soul.
Hi Ed,
The good thing that came out of this whole email mess is to reconnect w/ 3 friends whom I hadn't been in touch with for some time so that was defintely a good thing. Am still digging out from under tho and it's amazingly time consuming!
Thanks for the welcome Ed.
