  • Thom: It just goes to show what you said about feeling you've discovered a lost family. I feel the same! So much of my work and writing (as with most of us in this arena) centers on finding meaning in the world and helping others do the same. I had no idea you had such a history at Pacifica and would have never known if you hadn't shared that here in this Forum. It's a great institution and I have truly loved every minute of it. Wish we could have connected there--your influence must have been so valuable to the program. I'm having mixed feelings about finishing coursework in June--on the other hand, hopefully I'll have more time to read books of my own choosing. Your new one on Osiris will be one of them! Just ordered it. At least I can put it on my shelf and look at it in anticipation every day until then.

Hi Bonnie, Having followed your steps from a FB post (from Eldo) to that wonderful paper you wrote on ancient Egypt to your site and finally to DPAlliance demonstrates the truth in the alchemical maxim, "One book opens another." I congratulate you on creating such a wonderful site. I feel like I've discovered a community of lost family members! I also see that you attend Pacifica; another connection where I have the pleasure of providing Jungian therapy and dissertation coaching to students at your school. As for synchronicity, AP has brought me in touch with many interesting people. Happy you enjoyed the book and hope my latest work doesn't disappoint - it goes deeper! I look forward to contributing to DPAlliance and recommending it to friends and colleagues.

  • Hi Thom! Welcome to the Alliance. Believe it or not, I have your book "Alchemical Psychology" on my desk now; was quoting you yesterday while writing an article on an Alchemical Take on the film Black Swan. What great synchronicity! I have had your book for several years and really love how simple yet rich it is. Glad to have you in the community, and I look forward to dialoguing. Enjoy the site.
  • Welcome Thom,

I will be going to Amazon to find your works. My PhD dissertation is tentatively entitled "Theatre as Alchemical Alembic." Glad you are with us, it is an honor to have you as a member.

"Today we are again seeking for a new world. 9142437891?profile=original No longer do there remain undiscovered continents to serve us as laboratories for social experiments, so we are turning our attention to other kinds of worlds - worlds of thought, inner spheres which must yet be explored by daring navigators. Egyptian origins

"Had Jung pursued his research in this area further, he would not only have found evidence to support his theory of individuation, but would certainly have discovered the earliest structuring of the human psyche. With his genius, he certainly might have provided encyclopedic evidence that Ra is the personification of the Self. No doubt he would have gone further and found Horus to be the prototype for the ego archetype and Seth, the shadow archetype. Osiris would prove to be the prima…
