Kathleen Burt replied to Gray Crawford's discussion Mercury Retrograde in the Home of Saturn in Archetypal Astrology
"Another thought-provoking article, Gary, thanks.  I always enjoy Mercury's Rx journey through Capricorn; it tends to occur close to the Solstice, when our attention is turned inward. Often, lectures and articles appear on deeper topics. Mercury Rx…"

"Thanks, Gary.  For a calmer, more peaceful retrograde, it's best not to squeeze too many errands into one day. Also, it's been my experience when lecturing on these cycles that people are more interested in topics like dreams (messages from the…"

  • Hi Gray,

I noticed your note on the forum for the Red Book course. Just contact me to see if we can work on a scholarship for you. machiel@jungplatform.com

  • Hello Gray. I'd like to add my somewhat belated welcome to the Alliance.

I hope as you explore the community a bit you are finding a dynamic group of likeminded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists here, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like. You can also post a few paragraphs of your own blog in the Blogs section and put a link so people can go to your site and read the rest. I see you've already jumped in there, so that's great!

Also, you may want to consider joining the online book club if you haven't already—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. In May there's also a special study group on the Role of Dreams i Psycho-Spiritual Crisis you may want to check out.

Meanwhile, you seem to be managing fine, but in case you need detailed help navigating the site, you can use the following link-- http://www.depthpsychologyalliance.com/page/navigating-the-site--and please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing you around the community  ~Bonnie Bright, Founder

Aries and Individuation

This is a link to a recent blog article I wrote about Individuation and Archetypes (referencing Carl Jung, Marie Louise von Franz, Richard Tarnas, Alan Oken, and Jeffrey Wolf Green) in this incredible time potency of Aries energy- Sun, Venus, Uranus, Mars all together in Aries! (plus in general being square to Pluto in Capricorn and forming a YOD with Jupiter in Gemini pointing toward Saturn in Scorpio):…

There is just so much going on right now with astrology transits, it isn’t quite as obvious to pay attention to the asteroids named after Goddesses.  I mean, we not only have the Pluto-Uranus square going on, we have Pluto and Mars conjunct in Capricorn, we have Venus and Saturn conjunct in Scorpio, we have had Mercury moving across the north node of the Moon in Scorpio first direct, then retrograde, and now stationing direct to move back across a final time, and most significantly in this…
