Thank you for your warm welcome and interest in my clinical wor!. I completely agree in some sense that pain and suffering they aren't made of the 'stuff' that fits neatly into any one box.Nevertheless they are certainly experienced and responded to biologically, cognitively, and emotionally yes? And so therein lies the basis of my work. Perhaps I am here to find a way to weave the spiritual into that work! How intriguing.
Having said that, I have to bow out of the readings for a month or so due to other obligations, but look forward to learning more about your work, and joining the fun here soon!

Thank you for the warm welcome! There are many different definitions for "practicing Pagan." I use the most common usage which is that a Pagan is founded in the earth-based indigenous, pre-Christian religions of Europe. My particular path is as an eclectic Druid Witch. My practices are based in the belief that all things are a unique manifestation of the divine and I need to interact with them on that level, humans, animals, plants, earth, air, water, etc. I am trained in energy healing and work with the energies of the world.
Might be more than what you wanted to know, but that is a brief intro into what I do. I am also influenced by my studies in Tibetan and Zen Buddhism, Hindu Tantra Yoga and the Dagara tradition of West Africa.

I cycled through Somerset, on my way from Land's End in Cornwall, to Jon O' Groats in Scotland. A fine jolly along the highways and byways of Grande Bretane. Pure, simple living. A team of fellow amps and paraplegics (as hand-cyclists) were raising money in June -July 2005 for the Douglas Bader Foundartion. Bliss.
Next project is to cycle the Tour de France to raise money for Help for Heros, a charity in the UK supporting injured veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.
As he puts it, "Doing only one thing is supremely boring"...like that very much. I left school at 16, became a qualified electrician and control panel wireman, became 'supremely bored', followed my bliss in a full-time archaelogy & palaeecology BSc, then onto a PhD is palaeoecology (tree rings, lake cores, ice cores, deep ocean cores, peat cores...across the UK initially, then the links/patterns of human / archaeo and environmental changes popped out with Europe, then Near East, etc...even Central and South America). I finished the PhD early as my father was dying of from a very aggressive brain,bone, and lung cancer, and was awared an MPhil instead,. I had revisions to complete, just before the move to Sweden, when the Self had other plans for me. I tumbled down c.800ft of Scottish mountainside. After c.6 years in IT the Self is beckoning me again..into psychotherapy and counselling.
Reckon a face-to-face is in order :)

You're most welcome Ed. Those hospital moments do have their poignancy/meaning/messages, at least for some. When I woke up 13 days later in the ITU, my first thought, after noticing the odd sensation of missing a foot, was, "guess that last pitch didn't end too well. At least I'm still here!" After that I felt the urge to understand what the factors / parameters were which, by-and-large, determined my my choices. So the Way of Individuation began.
There's plenty more to come...maybe meet in person...the All willing.

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I have seen The new documentary about Marion Woodman "Dancing in the Flames". I loved how the animated films of Faith Hubly were edited to illustrate Marion's stories and themes. Powerful stuff. You are lucky to have seen her in person!
