  Thank you for the information, Willi.  My daughter, Jessica Becker (18 years of age), has been a gamer for most of her life and she is working on a book about one of her favorite games, and I thought she would be interested in this proposal, too.  I'm not sure whether or not there are age limits, but she is a fine writer.

  Thank you for the invitation and welcome, Willi.  I like the idea and discussions in your group, and the interconnectedness that permaculture seems to represent, at least to those who know a little bit about it.  I wonder how it fares in the 'mainstream' ?  Much for me to learn..

  I may not be very active and thus am reticent to join just yet, but you have my attention now...  looking forward to reading your posts, Julie

  Hi Willi - thanks for the welcome. You're first question is a tough one - but I think this group will be up to it. In a quick and general "gist-of-it" sort of way, I think we need new myths that focus on interdependence, as opposed to the rugged individualism that has reigned supreme for so long. Also, we so need to update our concept of god. Oh brother! We have our work cut out there!! Looking forward to the discussions.

  Hi Willi. An official welcome to the Alliance. Now you get the standard intro--forgive the formality, but great to have you here and looking forward to seeing you around....

  I hope as you explore the community a bit you find a dynamic group of like-minded people who are all deeply drawn by the field of depth psychology. While there are many Jungian analysts and clinical psychologists, our members come from many walks of life--artists, writers, doctors, healing professionals, counselors, students, business people, etc--so there is much cross-disciplinary knowledge and experience here to be shared.

  On that note, there are many opportunities to engage as you browse the site. When you're ready to jump in, please feel free to post a topic for discussion in the forum, respond to someone else's post, or share a link to an article or web site you like.

  Also, you may want to consider joining the online book club—There's a new author each month, and you can jump in at anytime and participate at whatever level you wish. The Book Club is all done via writing in an open forum, so you can read all the comments that have gone on so far. As you may know, in May, we are featuring a wonderful book from Dr. Thom Cavalli, a specialist in alchemical psychology, "Embodying Osiris: The Secrets of Alchemical Transformation." June will bring a whole new topic with an ecopsychological bent: "ReBearths: Conversations with a World Ensouled" with Dr. Craig Chalquist.
